The mainpurpose of this site was to create a portal to access 1 Source Motorsports' Store
316 Design's flexible Web 2.0 architecture separates the content(HTML & data) from the design (CSS) of the web site. Because 316Design builds sites based on Web Standards, future re-designs may onlyrequire you to change one CSS page. Future redesigns can be donerapidly and at a greatly reduced cost.
Our web sites are built using web-compliant standards as designatedby World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), including XHMTL and CSS. One of thebenefits of web standards is cross-browser compatibility, with newerbrowsers getting the full experience, while the site degradesgracefully for older or less able (phone/PDA) browsers. Web standardbased designs provide better usability to people with disabilities,including vision-impaired visitors. Additionally, CSS-based page designallows for consistent presentation across the site and is optimized forsearch engines.
We utilize our custom Content Management System (CMS) to manage thewebsite where people can login and contribute. Additional benefits of aweb-based system are that no additional commercial software needs to beinstalled on your computer. Our CMS will manage pages, products,articles, news, and events.
